  1. Windows 8.1-style search field

In Windows 8.1 apps (like the store) no longer have the search functionality through the charms bar (that's for Bing now), but a search field in the top-right corner. It would be nice if Hyper had this search field too. So on the start page, on the my subscriptions page, and, please also on channels so I can search for a specific video on a channel.

  2. Semantic Zoom

When watching a video in fullscreen, instead of double-tapping tablet users should be able to zoom out to get to the details page. Double tapping is just a weird thing to do on tablets :)

  3. Live channel tiles

When I pin a channel to the start screen it would be nice if the generated tile becomes live

  4. Keyboard Navigation

Make the program fully usable using the keyboard so that we can use it using remote controls / gamepads and key mapping software.

Using arrow keys and enter for navigation would be great.

  6. Have an "Offline mode" for the app

Currently, when we launch the app when not connected to the internet, we just go back to the home screen. So, the downloads downloaded would not be accessible without an Internet connection and without just going straight to the folder where the videos are stored at. Is it possible to maybe have an "Offline Mode" in the app that allows us to enter but only displays our downloads or something so that we are able to watch videos directly in the app itself?

  7. About that skip back/ahead and seek thing...

Would it be possible to outline the white colour with black or at least make it able to invert the background colour instead? From my personal experience, it's difficult to locate the thing when the video being watched has a white background or something...

  8. Show captions in videos

I like to watch videos on Hyper, but sometimes I can't because I don't quite understand what people are saying, and I can't enable captions like I do in the YouTube website.

It would be very helpful for people like me whose first language is not English, and for people with hearing problems.

I hope this link is helpful:

The YouTube Ali doesn’t really provide a way to get captions for videos: Captions for a video can only be created, retrieved, modified and deleted by the owner of that video.

You can have captions if you use the YouTube player (select in settings).
